We’re so excited to finally bring you the beta for Restrict Content Pro version 3.4. Over the last few weeks, we have been testing an exciting integration with Restrict Content Pro and are excited to share it with you.

Membership sites are a form of an eCommerce site and have many of the same components of an online store. One important trait that affects all stores is cart abandonment. Shopify, arguably the largest eCommerce platform out there, estimates that the number of people who abandon an online cart is hovering around 70-75% of consumers.

Our new add-on allows you to configure different activation, expiration, and cancellation emails for each membership level.

Group Accounts 2.0 adds support for customers owning and/or being a member of multiple groups simultaneously.

Restrict Content Pro version 3.2 is our first update that focuses on Strong Customer Authentication compliance, with a focus on the Stripe gateway. Our Stripe gateway now uses their Payment Intents API, which adds support for 3D secure. We also took this opportunity to add inline card rejection notices for Stripe. However, as part of updating our Stripe gateway to comply with SCA regulations, we’ve had to remove the Stripe Checkout gateway – but this will not impact your payments or subscriptions.

Version 3.2 includes significant changes to how Stripe payments are processed, but most importantly, it adds support for the Stripe Payment Intents API, which complies with the Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) regulation in Europe.

Today we are happy to announce the final release of Restrict Content Pro version 3.0. With this being such a huge release, we spent extra time testing all the features and adding support for 3.0 to all our add-ons ahead of time. Version 3.0 has been in the works for almost a year and we’re thrilled to finally have the first beta release available for testing. Most notably, version 3.0 introduces custom database tables for memberships and customers, a batch processor to migrate data, payment plans, and much more. This update is particularly exciting because introducing custom tables lays the groundwork for our next big project: adding support for multiple memberships per user.

Today we are happy to announce the final release of Restrict Content Pro version 2.9. There are several significant improvements in this release, along with a number of smaller fixes. Included in version 2.9 are better payment record tracking, complete post type restriction options, better user-role restrictions, renewal reminder notices for subscriptions, and more.
