MailPoet
The MailPoet add-on for Restrict Content Pro will integrate your site with MailPoet, a self-hosted newsletter plugin for WordPress. The add-on allows your customers to subscribe to your MailPoet email lists when they register for a membership on your RCP-powered website.
Note: MailPoet was formerly known as Wysija, and you may see it referenced by either name within the plugin and/or online.
Installing the MailPoet Add-On
Download and install the plugin from your account dashboard here. If you need help installing the plugin, refer to the WordPress plugin installation documentation.

Configuring the MailPoet Add-On
After installing and activating the plugin, you need to configure it so it can connect with your MailPoet list. There are only two settings you need to configure. They are:
- Newsletter List – the list you want members to be subscribed to
- Form Label – the label on the registration form where people subscribe
To configure these, go to Restrict > MailPoet in your WordPress dashboard.
In the Newsletter List dropdown, select the list you want people to be subscribed to when registering for a membership. In the Form Label box, enter the text you want displayed next to the checkbox on the registration form. Then click Save Options.
