Reports Overview

Restrict Content Pro provides four different types of reporting to allow you to track membership activity. The different reporting categories are:

  1. Earnings Report
  2. Refunds Report
  3. Signups Report
  4. Membership Counts Report

Each graph can be filtered to show these different dates:

  • This Week
  • Last Week
  • This Month
  • Last Month
  • This Quarter
  • Last Quarter
  • This Year
  • Last Year
  • Custom – Select your own date range

Let’s take a look at each of the four reports sections available within Restrict Content Pro:

Earnings

The earnings graph shows you how much money was brought in during the specified time period.

In addition to filtering by date, the earnings report can also be filtered by membership level. The drop-down defaults to “All Membership Levels” but can be changed to show income for a specific level instead.

Refunds

The refunds graph shows you how many payments have been refunded during the specified time period. This information is based on the payment status listed in Restrict > Payments. If the status is “Refunded” then it will appear on this graph.

Signups

The signups graph shows you how many new signups (registrations) have occurred during the specified time period.

Membership Counts

This report was added in version 3.3. It shows you your number of memberships with each status over time. So you can see exactly how many active memberships there were on each day, how many expired, etc. It allows you to determine if your membership counts are trending up or down over a period of time. The data used in this report is stored in a database table called wp_rcp_membership_counts. Because the table was only added in version 3.3, historical data is not available. Restrict Content Pro runs a cron job once per day to count the memberships for each level and in each status and record those numbers.
