Customer Spotlight: Wandering Aimfully
This month’s customer spotlight is Wandering Aimfully: an online business coaching program.
The team behind Wandering Aimfully is a married couple, Jason and Caroline. This pair of business coaches make it their mission to help online business owners earn more money. They share their advice through podcasts, articles, guides, YouTube videos, and a monthly coaching membership.
The coaching program is the couple’s bread and butter. It’s where they train business owners to improve their quality of life while maintaining and succeeding in their business endeavors.
“We want to encourage more people to create meaningful work they love, earn a good living doing it, and live a life that feels successful on THEIR terms, not the terms laid out by society.”
Jason and Caroline, Wandering Aimfully
In their monthly training program, Wandering Aimfully provides attendees with courses, software products, workshops, and an extensive Slack community to keep everyone engaged in the material.
And, of course, they wouldn’t be able to create such a flourishing website without the help of a few WordPress tools in their pocket. Wandering Aimfully uses Restrict Content Pro to offer its monthly training program to site visitors.
Wandering Aimfully limits its training program to a set number of attendees. Once they reach that number, they enable a waitlist through a third-party plugin that leads users to a place to enter their email addresses instead. Since Wandering Aimfully doesn’t display its membership form outright, they use graphics and information blocks to talk about the benefits of membership.
Let’s look at their website and the creative ways they’ve formed a membership site.
Membership resources to the max
You’ll find all the membership resources in the website’s footer. From there, you can sign up for the training program, log in to the member portal, and get all of your membership FAQs answered.
Once you click on the WAIM Unlimited membership page, you’ll see the waitlist enabled. They’ve added an alert banner at the top of the page to inform users about the waitlist. There’s also a link to the bottom of the page where interested folks can enter their email addresses for the waitlist.
You can recreate this effect for your own site to create interest. When users are taken off a waitlist, you can email them about their new active membership using the available email settings in Restrict Content Pro.
For Wandering Aimfullly’s site, Restrict Content Pro integrates with RightMessage to capture email addresses to add to the membership sign-up. You’ll also find that you can extend your membership site with any one of the add-ons that are available for Restrict Content Pro, like ActiveCampaign, WooCommerce Member Discounts, and BuddyPress.
